With devastation and great sadness, the family announces the tragic and unexpected passing of Antoine Andrew Bouchard, TONY the Champ “Waits for Sunrise” Kapeetoot Jimooghangnik. Tony always lit up a room, he shined so bright. He was loved by his family, friends and community. Always looked out for others. Smart, strong morale values and could fill a room with laughter.
Tony spent his early years working in the bush mentored by his uncle Amede, teaching him the forestry trade that his father and grandfather worked. His fondest memories would be our camping trips, to Beardmore, Christmas get togethers. He was an avid movie lover, listening to tunes and cherished his children.
Antione is predeceased by his father Sylvain Bouchard, grandfather Andrew Thompson, Jeannine & Renald Bouchard of Quebec and is reunited with his soulmate “Evrie”. He leaves behind his children AJ, Christian, Hope & Oliver, the mother of his children Danielle Bouchard, mother Adele Thompson, grandmother Norah Thompson, sisters Melanie (Brandon) and Martine, nieces Hannah, Abby and Zoey, nephew Hunter, aunties Zelma, Anita, Andrea, Angel and Renita, uncles Andrew, Amede (Robin), Arnold, Ambrose and Andre. Cousins Laura, Jewels, Shayna, Christopher, Terry, Andrea, April, Adam, Andrew, Billy Ray, Dwayne, Elliot, Andrew, Ryan, Brandon, Kyle, Amanda, Amy Dee, Brandi, Sammi, AJ, Marissa, Priscella, David, Katherine, Justice, Meagan and Grant.
Visitation for Antoine "Tony" Bouchard will be held at the Blake Funeral Chapel from 1pm – 2pm on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Guests are asked to please observe social distancing, hand sanitize and wear masks. Vaccine passports are not required for attendance, however indoor capacity is still limited. Antoine’s funeral service will be livestreamed via the Blake Funeral Chapel facebook page at www.facebook.com/BlakeFuneralChapel starting at 2pm.
