Barry Leonard Bannon
December 9, 1957 – April 22, 2022
Mr. Barry Leonard Bannon, “Bubba”, age 64 years passed away peacefully on Friday, April 22 with his family by his side at Southbridge Pinewood Court.
Born December 9, 1957, Bubba grew up as a proud member of the FWFN. He loved hunting and fishing, and enjoyed NasCar, even attended a race at the Talladega Race Track. Though Bubba worked for many companies and people, the job he enjoyed the most was working in the bush with his Uncle Stan and Uncle Pete (Gowah). As the family business grew, so did the countless positions Bubba would help out. From Gas Jockey to Snow Plower in the winter to being the carpenter and painter he was even a great cook for the restaurant; he loved every job. He even landed a role in the movie -Clear Cut. He took pride in all that he
did.
With his health not the best, Bubba never strayed far from home. He loved to putter around nearby and fix things, but his biggest love was for his family and his favorite hockey team was always Philadelphia Flyers, and his dog he held close to his heart; his beloved sidekick “Happy”.
Bubba is survived by his mother Jessie and brothers Ton (Judy), Howard (Elsie), Wally (Kelly), sisters Jan, June (Grant) and Wanda (Carl) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his dad Vincent, brothers William and Howard and sisters Rita and Audrey, and his grandparents Lucy & Charlie and Phylis &Vincent.
During Bubba's stay at Southbridge Pinewood (due to his decline in health) the family would like to give a BIG Thank You to All the Staff and Friends of Bubbas' from Southbridge Pinewood Court. You have taken such Great care of our Beloved Bubba and he has grown to love each and everyone of yous there. We sincerely Thank You for Everything you've done during his stay.
Funeral Services for Bubba will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 11:00am in St. Anne’s Church, with visitation at the church one hour prior.
