Obituary for Daniel Shields
I am deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of my father, Daniel Gordon Shields on October 28th, 2022, in the comfort of his home.
Daniel was born April 29th, 1971 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Dan worked as a truck driver at various locations in Thunder Bay most recently at O'Keefe Moving Systems. Daniel made many friendships throughout his lifetime, many being lifelong friends he cherished.
Daniel is survived by; his daughter; Danielle Shields; three sisters; Crystal (Rob) Frasca; Lisa (Darryl) Solomon; and Cindy (Dave) Lankinen. He is also survived by five nieces and two nephews as well as two great nieces and one great nephew. Dan is survived by many other relatives as well.
Daniel is predeceased by his parents; Charlene Marie (Holman) Shields, Dan Brian Shields.
Dan's family will be holding a private celebration of life to honor him. We encourage everyone to share their stories about Dan, and how he brought life to every room he entered.
