It is with heavy hearts the family of Mrs. Eva Nemeth sadly announce her peaceful passing on December 31, 2021 at Hogarth Riverview Manor. Eva was born in Dunakeszi, Hungary on March 13, 1933 and immigrated to Canada in 1957. Eva was a member of St. Patrick’s Cathedral for over 30 years and was involved in many prayer groups. Lovingly remembered by her children, John (Dolores) Nemeth, Susan (John) Baker, Elizabeth (Shawn) Peel and Eva (Joseph) Fournier. Grandchildren Nicole (Rob) Delaqua, Amanda Peel (Ryan), Jonathon Peel (Stephanie) and step-grandaughter Stephanie (Kris) Succo. Great grandchildren Taylor, Stephanie, Cameron, Brooke, Bradly, Kaitlynn, as well as step-great grandchildren Troy, Matthew and Grant. She is predeceased by her husband John Nemeth Senior, and her parents and sister in Hungary. A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful staff and Dr. Garon of 6N Hogarth. A memorial funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 11:00 am in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, celebrated by Rev. Msgr. P.M. Stilla V.G. Visitation will be held in the church one hour prior to Mass. Memorial donation to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
