Obituary for Lauretta Paglia

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lauretta Anna Paglia of Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 61. Loving daughter of Christina and Ennio Paglia.

Laura lived an amazing life, full of fun, love, laughter, and learning. Being the oldest of 8 children, Laura took so much pride in being part of a big Italian family. She loved her brothers, sisters, and parents so much. Later in life Laura went on to have 2 children, Christine and Albert. She was the best mother anyone could ask for. Always ensuring that her kids had everything they needed and more. She was the biggest support, believer, cheerleader, and all-around amazing person.
Laura was always a hard worker, and loved working positions that ensured she would be around people. She loved working with the public and learned something new every day.

Even near the end of her journey, Laura was positive and loving. When things got hard, she would smile. If something was uncomfortable, she made a joke and laugh. She always was trying to keep everyone around her in great spirits.

She leaves behind her mother Christina, daughter Christine (Clint), son Albert (Nicolle), granddaughters Aubrey and Tegan, grandson Donivan, sisters Carmelina (Donald), Lisa (Randy), Sandra (George), Vince (Jocelyn), Brother in-law Andre, numerous nieces and nephews and their families, as well as fur grandchildren Biggie, Paco, Goose, Blaze, Lola, and Baily.

She is with family in heaven, being predeceased by her sisters Claudia and Maria, brother Tony, and father Ennio.
An informal Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 27th at Blakes Funeral Chapel, 200 May St S. from 11-2 pm. Please join us to share stories, memories, and a blessing.
