Obituary for Richard Zuliani
It is with heavy hearts the family of Richard Oliver Zuliani announce his unexpected passing on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the age of 66.
Born and raised in Thunder Bay (Fort William) he was the youngest and only son of four. He attended local schools and as a teenager he began his apprenticeship as a bricklayer, working side by side with his good friends Rob Stefanato and Rob Zaina (the stories they could tell.) He enjoyed listening to music, watching old movies and sports. Rick loved to cook; he spent many hours perusing cookbooks and trying out different recipes that he would boast about to his family. He was famous for his lasagna, which was always requested for family get togethers.
Rick is predeceased by his parents Oliver and Iris Zuliani and his son Christopher. He is survived by his son John (Kristin), sisters Bev Ross, Judy (Richard) Robson, and Jo-Anne Anderson, many nieces and nephews, and childhood friend Blair Ingberg.
Cremation has taken place, and as per Rick’s wishes there will be no funeral. Donations to the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital Cardiac Care Unit would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the first responders for their kindness and compassion.
