Obituary for Théresè Perron

It is with great sadness that the family of Théresè Rita Perron (nee Vezeau) announce her passing on March 28, 2022.
Théresè was born in Ste-Anne des Plaines, P.Q. Then, as a young girl, her father moved the whole family to LaSarre, P.Q. to homestead on the farm. After grade school she pursued training as a teacher. She met the love of her life, Jacques, in LaSarre and was wed on August 31, 1957. Taking a leap of faith, due to not speaking English, her and Jacques followed his parents and siblings to Atikokan, O.N. in 1960 for job opportunities in the booming mining town.
For 30 years Jacques and Théresè ran a photography and framing business out of their home. Many a generation of kids had their school pictures taken, then came back for their wedding photos.
Théresè was active her whole life in her church and choir. She was a 74-year member of the C.W.L. One of her greatest joys was cooking and many family members and friends enjoyed excellent home cooked meals.
Théresè is survived by her children Francine (Ron), Pierre, Mario (Susan), 4 grandchildren Nicole (Marino), René, Natalie (Jeremy) and Michel, 3 great-grandchildren Sydney, Aubrey-Belle and Andrew, sister-in-law Claudette Perron (Jacques), brothers-in-law Richard (Marie) and Yves (Marlyn) Perron. She was predeceased by her husband Jacques/2009, her parents Cyprien and Irene Vezeau, her in-laws Fernando and Juliet Perron, niece Julie Quarrell and nephew Pascal Perron, and all 10 of her siblings.
A Celebration of Life and interment will be held in the summer.
